Most network fault and performance monitoring applications limit your ability to group data and report on information discovered on your network. The Orion Network Performance Monitor has a unique “Custom Property Editor” Application. This application allows you either select from a predefined list or create you own unique field.

The Custom Property Editor allows you to add unique business and network information to the database to improve your ability to group and report on your network. It also allows you to display node or circuit specific information like the escalation procedures for an outage.

Some examples of custom properties include:

Custom Property information may be accessed by the Orion Report Writer to create custom performance reports filtered by State, Country, or any other parameter.
