DHCP Scope Monitor Tool
The DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Scope Monitor from SolarWinds will monitor DHCP Scopes and show which scopes are low on addresses. The number of dynamically assigned (and unassigned) IP Addresses for each scope is displayed.
The DHCP Monitor can be used to show you which scopes are beginning to run out of available IP Addresses. The results may of the DHCP Scope Monitor may be exported to HTML, Coma Delimited, Plain Text or Excel. If you work with DNS, this networking tool is a must.
When the total number of available IP Addresses drop below a user defined threshold the 1) IP Address, 2) Scope Name and 3) number of remaining addresses Available all change to Red.
