The SolarWinds DNS Analyzer name server application will discover and visually diagram the hierarchical DNS structure of your company’s DNS Resource records, including Root Servers, Name Servers, Global Top Level Domain Servers, CName Pointers, Authoritative Address Servers, etc. The relationships between multiple Name Servers and target IP Addresses are easy to distinguish visually using the DNS Structure diagram. Redirections from one Domain Name Server to other Domain Name Servers are graphically shown as well.
The SolarWinds DNS Analyzer not only returns the Domain Name and IP Address for each discovered device it also displays the detailed DNS packet data used during the creation of the DNS Structure Diagram. For each and every path it will display the DNS “Question”, the Server, the ResponseCode, the QueryName, Type, Class, Domain Name, RecordType, TTL and Data.
