SNMP Real Time Graph
SNMP Graph Monitors in Real Time
The SolarWinds SNMP Graph application is a real-time data collection and graphing tool capable of graphing data from any MIB (Management Information Base) simply by selecting the device and the desired OID (Object ID). The SNMP Graph can monitor parameters like: Traffic, CPU Processor Load, Voltage on a Power Plant, Unique User per Web Server, Temperature, VoIP Traffic, and much more. If you can access a device by SNMP then the SNMP Graph will allow you to graphically monitor and view the statistics of that OID. The monitored SNMP OID can be from standard MIB or a Vendor proprietary MIB.
Great SNMP Tool for Identifying Potential Problems
SNMP Graph has the ability to monitor dissimilar data at the same time on a single chart. For example, below you can see that the Router CPU Processor Load is monitored in Percent Utilization on the same chart as Traffic in bits per second. Another example would be to monitor the “Number of Unique Users” on a Web Server against “Total Traffic Downloaded” or “Response Time”. It also has the ability to post the results to a Web Page in real-time. The possibilities are limitless.
Additional SNMP Network Monitoring Software
The SolarWinds Engineer’s Edition Toolset is a collection of 49 network management applications and utilities designed by network engineers, for network engineers. This network management toolset contains applications for fault and performance monitoring, discovery and mapping, and configuration and compliance.
