The Trace Route Tool from SolarWinds is one of the fastest trace route utilities on the internet. This utility can quickly trace a route from your computer to any other device. The SolarWinds Trace Route tool is fast because it processes traces to each hop concurrently not sequentially like other trace route tools.

The tool not only displays the response time for each node but resolves the DNS real time and displays SNMP information where applicable. It reports the standard ICMP information but also SNMP information like Machine Type, ISO Level, boot time, etc.

Once you have the path results you simply right-click on any device to continue the analysis. You can PING, Launch Enhanced PING, Telnet to the device or interrogate it with IP Network Browser.
